Esta suíte das gravuras de Willian Hogarth é considerada a sua ultima. Retrata, de forma genial uma disputa eleitoral em Oksfordshire no século XVIII, 1745 para sermos precisos.
Naquela época a falta de caráter era a regra principal, era um vale-tudo político sem limites.
Os comentários do autor desta obra, só revelam suas intenções no final da leitura. Deixa-nos surpresos, siga até o final.

This suite of engravings by William Hogarth is considered to be his last. It portrays in genius an electoral contest in Oksfordshire in the 18th century, 1745 to be precise.
At that time the lack of character was the main rule, it was an all-out political goalless.
